Dude, where’s my electric car?

As I’ve said earlier, I like gadgets, new technologies and all things related to those. I think one of the coolest gadgets lately have been electric and hybrid cars. Finally they are starting to come out looking less than a Tupperware box and more like a spaceship.

Who doesn’t like spaceships?

When Tesla came out with their Roadster, they quickly sold pretty much all of them and their latest model – the Sedan that will come out soon has already 520 reservations of $5,000 each. However I’m a bit skeptical on electric cars when it comes to any place outside California.

Because we have this thing called “weather” and seasons and all.

It’s cold and wet.

I don’t think the electric cars and their batteries especially will like a lot of that.

Definitely not a spaceship.

Definitely not a spaceship.

Still, if someone would get me a Prius and it’s toaster-like design, I’d drive it because it has this crazy cool big display of moving stuff showing the battery level and whatnot.

Are you waiting for the arrival of electric cars?
