Matrix: 10 years of following the white rabbit
Today is the 10th anniversary of the day when people’s lives changed in many cases. I remember seeing the trailer of the movie where Neo (Keanu Reeves in his second breakthrough role – after Bill and Ted of course!) is running on the roof, the agents chasing him before he jumps THROUGH the brick wall after Trinity – the audience thinking something in the lines of:
“Wait, I’m in a theater watching a decent film, and this looks like a well done science fiction movie. Not only does it have Rage Against the Fricking Machine in its soundtrack, but it looks legitimate…”
And the Morpheus comes on screen (Mr. Fishburne, we love you) and says that no one can be told what the Matrix is, you have to see it for yourselves.
And boy, we did.
