The Crisis of Credit

I’ve had a plenty of people come and ask me to explain them what the whole credit crisis is all about and why are we in a recession. The concept is quite simple in a way, but takes a while to explain, thus I was greatly appreciating this very informational and beautiful video by Jonathan Jarvis.

The Crisis of Credit Visualized from Jonathan Jarvis on Vimeo.

It’s genius in its simplicity and very, very clear to all who have seen it. I’ve been showing it to people from bankers to young students.

In general, I’ve always tried to understand and learn as much as I can, so I can in turn explain things to people simply. I believe it is the best show of intelligence that people are able to simplify difficult concepts to layman’s terms instead of the usual jargon and arrogance.

I think a lot of people and companies could learn from this, creating material that is challenging in its concept and not its telling.

What kind of person are you? Does the language used change us as people?
